STEVE ADAM brings both sail and power experience to the team at Arbutus Coast Yachts. With a solid background in Marine, Steve is currently very involved with RCMSAR. As a member of Search and Rescue he has completed extensive training and is proud to currently hold the position of Coxswain for the Ladysmith Station. He brings an excellent knowledge of local waters.
Steve has many years experience in Sales and will bring his customers an thoughtful and analytical, no nonsense approach, to the purchase or selling process.
As a member of the Ladysmith Yacht Club, and an owner of a Cutwater, you will find Steve and his family out cruising whenever he gets a chance!

LARRY THOMPSON is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB). Larry is currently the President of the BCYBA - BC Yacht Brokers Association and he also sits on the CAC - Certification Advisory Council for North America CPYB. Knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. After moving to Vancouver Island many years ago, Larry was hooked on the boating lifestyle. He went on to work in sales, service, and on bridge electronics on a major vessel refit before ultimately deciding on being a broker. With many years of experience buying and selling vessels within Canada and the US, he will assist you in avoiding the pitfalls that can often happen throughout the buying and selling process. MARK VANDERBYL joins ARBUTUS COAST YACHTS, working out of our Canoe Cove Marina Office in Sidney
A Vancouver Islander at heart, now berthed in North Saanich, Captain Mark Vanderbyl has been around the water all his life.
After time spent away from the water
in the music and multimedia/computer industries, he returned to the water and pursued a career in yachting, rising quickly to his first captain's position aboard a 90' Motoryacht. From there he worked his way up in size on various yachts, running 3 different Westport 112' Motoryachts, a 130' Oceanfast jet drive yacht, a 125' Palmer Johnson motosailer, and a brand new Nordhavn 120', among others.
